It is the first car of the ITU Solar Interface Team which was founded upon the call of Tübitak in 2004. Design work started in 2004 was completed in 2005 and ARIBA I was produced. For the first time, our team, which makes an electric car that works with solar energy, joined Istanbul Park in 2005 with ARIBA I in its first race. When it came to 2006, ARIBA I participated in Tübitak Formula-G 2006 again, it was 1st in performance compared to other solar cars and represented ITU in the best way. ARIBA I is currently exhibited in the Electrical Machinery Laboratory of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Faculty of ITU. The ITU Solar Bus Team has designed and produced ARIBA II in order to be able to obtain a 2nd car besides the 1st crown in the Tübitak Formula-G races by making a better car with the experience gained in 2005. Our team, who had a successful race with both vehicles, succeeded to enter 1st and 2nd in the finish line. ARIBA I round number 30 is the best lap time 2: 42.872. With ITURA (ARIBA III) produced in 2007, our team took the first place in the Formula G 2007 competition in Ankara. In the same race, our second team with ARIBA II took its place in the first row. Our team, who did not leave 1st and 2nd place in Turkey for 3 years in Turkey races, has turned its route to international platform by enchanting its targets. After a year of designing, our team has been working on the World Solar Challenge and has produced Arıva IV. Having succeeded in receiving the "The Best Newcomer Award" at the first international race with Arıba IV, the team has also confirmed its engineering work around the world. Designed in 2010, ARIBA V was completed in September 2011 following an intense design and production process. The ARIBA V team, designed for the World Solar Challenge 2011, was not able to participate in the WSC 2011 which was challenging due to some financial problems that we have experienced. Our team, who is confident to produce and who wants to test it, took a decision after 3 years to join TÜBİTAK Formula-G race in Turkey. ARIBA V proved itself at national races, receiving two awards at Formula-G 2012 Races. Our team came first in the semifinals, and in the final race it got 3rd place because of some disruptions. In addition, ARIBA V Tübitak was awarded the 'Best Engineering Design' award, which was the award that measured engineering and technical capacities of vehicles in Formula-G races. Immediately after the Formula G 2012 races, the designs of ARIBA VI started. The production process began with mold production in February and the vehicle was completed in August 2013. Passing through the Bosphorus Bridge and going all the way to Ankara, the entire road was powered by solar power and the vehicle was tested during this journey. ARIBA VI participated in the World Solar Challenge competition in Australia in October and ended the race 1713 km by way of some problems related to the engine of the car. The designs of ARIBA VII started in October 2013 in order to participate in the Tübitak Formula G races which will be organized for the last time in 2014. Although the vehicle, which is the upper version of the ARIBA VI, has not changed much in appearance from the previous vehicle, there have been major changes in the design as mechanical and material 11. We have decided to renew one of our cars in order to participate in the Youth For Future (YFF) competition which Anadolu University Anadolu Solar Team has taken the leadership of. It was decided to revise Arıba6 due to the accident that Arıba7 had passed and the vehicle was ready for use in a short period of time. We participated in the YFF race without any violation of the rules and without penalties 3. This event was the beginning of a beautiful friendship with the Anadolu Solar Team. Now we are taking the long term renewal of our vehicle and preparing to participate in international competitions and city events. We completed the production of our prototype ARUNA vehicle by taking the first step in the cruiser vehicle class, the new category emerging in the World Solar Challenge race. Despite being our first experience, we had a nice production process. We started the process of preparing the vehicle to be exhibited because it was not appropriate for us to participate in the race.
